A Warm Greeting
It has been for almost two years since I became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), and also a year since I started practicing at Guelph Sport Massage in the Wellington clinics. Time is flying, and I wish I had the power to slow it down a bit…. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Now that I’m finally settled, I wanted to take time to greet everyone – not only at the clinic – but also here, on my first website!
First Things First
I want to thank those who have read or are going to read my bios and now my blog.
I want to express my gratitude to all clients whom I have treated and to all clinic members whom I have worked with for being trusted and patient with me in my initial steps into the medical field.
Your well-being, happiness, and feedback are tremendously important to me in improving my craft. I encourage you to please leave a comment or contact me and share your thoughts on what you like, or what I can improve on.
Your feedback will accentuate my learning and will fulfill my areas of weaknesses which then will enhance my overall effectiveness toward providing you a better treatment.
A Friendly Reminder
A little reminder to everyone, do not wait until you have injured yourself to come in for intensive treatment. Massage Therapy can be much more pleasant when your muscles are in their healthier stages. Now, I bet you, some of you are probably disagreeing: if I am in good health then why I need Massage Therapy? The key here is to prevent illness and conditions before they develop.
Aside from that, I also wanted to take this time to tell everyone about my new Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) certification that I have just received from the Dr. Vodder School. For more information please visit Lymph Ontario’s website
In my next post, I will talk about the effect of Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy, and give you a lot more information about the Lymphatic System. By devoting an entire post on the Lymphatic System and the effects of Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy, I will give you ideas about why I am providing MLD therapy.
Subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss any of the exciting information that I’ll be sharing on this blog for FREE!
