Attention Patients! Coming for appointment(s) amid the Covid-19 Pandemic
... May 31, 2020
In following the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario, massage therapy treatment is only allowed for patients who needed urgent care. You must have a rational reason to come for massage therapy; that if you were not getting massage it will affect your long-term health that will leads to medical or hospitalized attention. Everyone will be screen with the health questionnaires. I will need this report send back to me one day but no later than 8pm the night before your appointment and it is to be kept in your file.
If you have any symptom(s) that mimic the Covid-19 symptom(s) you will be rescheduled until you feel better. It is mandatory that all patients must wear surgical/procedure mask at all time while being on my site. Masks are provided at no cost. You will be temperature check. You will also have to sanitize your hands upon arriving, before departing and prior to touching doors. Please leave your belongings at home or in your car. You will have to come alone and as close to your appointment time as possible and to wait in your car until you are called or texted to come in. Please let me know by text or call of your arrival.
During this time, to minimize people from contacting with each other, I request patients to book your next appointment(s) online or over the phone and leave at soon as possible after your treatment is finished so I can do my diligence on disinfecting my equipment prior to the next patient. Only debit, credit and e-transfer payments will be accepted. Please DO NOT bring CASH.
Exception for mask and chronic condition(s) with doctor’s requisition to massage therapy treatment
Please note, you will be re-scheduled or denied massage therapy treatment if you have even one symptom similar to the Covid-19 symptoms. If wearing mask, jeopardized your breathing due to health condition(s) or if you have any chronic symptom(s) that mimic the Covid-19 symptoms but still in need of massage therapy treatment then a doctor’s recommendation is required.
Therapist’s Roles
I will do my best to make sure that all high-touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected in between patients. All linens, blankets and pillows will be changed in between patients and washed and dried at highest heat possible. I will be wearing disposal surgical/procedure mask and apron at all time while providing treatment and whenever within two meters of patients. Mask and apron are to be replaced each time in between patients.
It is a difficult time and we will win this battle. I hope everyone understand and collaborate with me in following the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario’s guidance so we can all be safe and return to our normalcy as soon as possible. Thank-you for your trust and understanding!
Please advise if you have any question or concern.
